Miscellaneous Provisions

Section 1. Seal.

The seal of the Association shall be circular in form and shall have inscribed thereon the words, “The Association of Independent Schools of Greater Washington,” “District of Columbia” and “Corporate Seal.”

Section 2. Checks.

All checks, drafts or other orders for the payment of money shall be signed by such Officer or Officers or such other person or persons as the Board of Trustees may from time to time designate.

Section 3. Nondiscrimination Policy.

The Association does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, national or ethnic origin in the admission of Members, in the election of Trustees and Officers, in the hiring of employees or in its employment practices and policies.

Section 4. Fiscal Year.

The fiscal year of the Association shall end June 30.
