Mission Statement

The Association of Independent Schools of Greater Washington advances the collective interests of member schools in the capital region by promoting high professional standards and practices, encouraging cooperative endeavors, enhancing member schools' standing in the community, and safeguarding their independence.

The Association provides its membership broad educational perspectives through its collaboration with independent, parochial and public schools as well as educational organizations on the local, regional, and national levels.
