Upskilling Old Tools to Address New Parent Challenges

 This workshop will help senior leaders upskill tools they already have in their tool box to address growing anxieties in our parent bodies. We’ll review practices for self-regulation and co-regulation that will allow leaders to maintain a steady, balanced presence in the face of big feelings and surprising behaviors. We’ll also discuss and model de-escalation practices — helpful tools and language from the fields of trauma therapy and crisis counseling to help dial down the temperature on conversations that are simply too charged to be productive. We’ll identify frameworks for approaching difficult interactions so we can distinguish between someone who is “having a hard time” rather than “‘giving you a hard time.”

This program will also include breakfast and time for unstructured conversation between colleagues.
