St. Andrew’s Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning will host its annual Middle School Diversity Conference (MSDC) for students and educators on January 18, 2019. Designed specifically for 6th-8th graders, this student conference will explore diversity, identity, and allyship at this critical age for identity development. Last year over 400 participants attended a powerful and affirming day for students. While the students are in session, educators and administrators are invited to a special workshop that will explore inclusive pedagogy and provide an opportunity to network and resource share with others, led by members of the faculty of the National Diversity Practitioners Institute. The $40 registration fee for students and educators includes a continental breakfast and a full lunch.

This conference is chaired by Dr. Rodney Glasgow, Head of Middle School & Chief Diversity Officer at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School and Chair of NAIS Student Diversity Leadership Conference.
