Come learn with and from world-renowned Project Zero researchers and over 300 local educators at the sixth annual Washington International School Summer Institute for Teachers (WISSIT): Connecting DC Educators with Project Zero Ideas. The week-long institute will explore three major themes: Building a Culture of Thinking; Educating for Global Competence; and Encouraging Creativity and a Maker Mindset in Children. On Wednesday, July 31, we will spend the entire day on or near the National Mall exploring how Project Zero ideas translate into the museum setting. Scholarships are on offer for educators in Title I schools or for those working toward licensure. For more information, contact Jim Reese.
