Grace Episcopal School

Founded in 1959, Grace Episcopal School provides an academically challenging and developmentally appropriate education for children in Preschool through Grade 5. Our strong academic program emphasizes the basic tools of learning: reading, writing, and mathematics. The curriculum is varied – rich in music, literature, drama, art, history, science, computers, physical education, and spiritual development – all taught in an enriching and nurturing environment. Our students receive individual attention in small classes and learn to be critical thinkers and successful problem solvers.

Grace Episcopal School students are inspired to learn and develop, and are eager to meet each day’s new challenges. Our highly experienced teachers are committed to knowing each student individually, and their efforts extend beyond the classroom to our playgrounds and playing fields, our stage, our enrichment programs, and our service to the greater community. They educate the whole student – intellectually, physically, and spiritually.

Grace Episcopal School has a proven track record in preparing our students well for Middle School. Our students learn to face challenges, to become leaders, to take ownership of their learning, and to enjoy succeeding at a wide range of activities. Students are given the necessary skills for success in their later school years and beyond.

Exploring our website should provide a sense of what you can expect from an education at Grace Episcopal School. However, nothing can take the place of a campus visit. Please join us at one of our Open House events or schedule a tour by calling our Admissions Office at 703-549-5067.
