When to Worry About Your Worrier – A Roadmap for Recognizing and Supporting Children and Adolescents Struggling with Anxiety

As part of The Lab School of Washington's "Growth" Lecture Series for Parents and Professionals, Kevin Young PhD, Founder of Maryland OCD and Anxiety Therapy, will review the clinical criteria for a variety of anxiety and related disorders, identify ways in which symptoms might manifest at different ages, and highlight effective prevention and intervention strategies that parents and teachers might use to support their children and adolescents. Questions and discussion will be welcomed and encouraged throughout.
