Today, diversity, equity, and inclusion is a sustained and ongoing conversation. No sector can escape the buzz. And few relationships are as important as the one between the Head of School and DEI Director, where the very design, strategy, and execution of DEI work for independent schools takes shape. While often untapped and not thought of together, Heads of School and DEI Directors have the power to consider how their schools manage change – which is the essence of advancing DEI. This session will focus the conversation on understanding the Head of School and DEI Director's relationship and power to advance DEI through a change management lens while centering the needs of their independent school communities.
