We know that many schools are devoting time and resources to integrating AI into their program. You’ve set up working groups and task forces that are generating ideas, practices and policies for your community. Some among you are off and running while others are still struggling to embrace this new actor in the school setting. Regardless of where you are in the process, it’s a good idea to increase your AI literacy and understand the mindsets that some of your faculty and staff are bringing to this work.
During this interactive session, former teacher and AI education pioneer Mike Kentz will share foundational principles for safe and effective use of generative AI systems. Mike will provide actionable strategies to make AI adoption less daunting and offer transferable language and approaches for school-wide implementation. Participants will receive a Google folder with adaptable resources and templates.
The discussion will be geared towards division and academic leaders as well as anyone on your faculty or staff with a lead role in exploring your school’s approach to AI integration.
Cost: The cost is $150 per school. Everyone who plans on attending this workshop should register so that we have an accurate headcount. Schools will be invoiced following the event.
