Fall Governance Series:
The Long Game

This webinar is designed for heads of school and trustees who face what will likely be the second most challenging year in their careers as school leaders. Even as they play multi-dimensional chess with an agenda that will include the re-establishment of boundaries, the resurgence of COVID variants, the growth in their school’s commitment to antiracist practices, the curation of learnings from last year, they’ll be doing it all with depleted human capital, their own and that of the faculty and the board. All of this calls for a “long game” approach. Join us to explore together what that long game might look like, what top initiatives must (and could) fit within it, how you can assess the relative fitness of your school to carry them out, and how you can construct your long game approach so that faculty can return to the rhythms and relationships that fill them up, and so that heads and boards rebuild their political capital.
