Featuring keynote remarks by Dr. Marcia ChatelainGeorgetown University scholar and strategist on racism and social justice issues in America entitled Everywhere, But Here:  The Disruptive and Transformative Power of SchoolsIn a time in which our social and political climate is so divisive, how do we show students that another world is possible?  How do we disrupt the vitriol of the outside world?  What do we do when our communities absorb and mirror some of the most toxic elements of our culture?  Dr. Chatelain will share some reflections of her years on the road working with schools, churches and other communities about the importance of using an honest interrogation of our institutional histories to respond to today's challenges.

Registration fee: $85/person
