Experience innovation through Flint Hill School’s Annual Global Day of Play. Our Day of Play creates design challenge opportunities where students work collaboratively to brainstorm, design, plan and problem-solve based on a fun theme. Students use empathy while ideating as part of the design thinking process to agree upon what they will build. Constraints may include the amount of time to build, the audience's age, materials available, and the scale of the project. Each October, Flint Hill students spend the Day of Play building, sharing and reflecting on their design and finished project. At this event, your family will hear from LS Innovation Department Chair Joey Starnes about innovation at Flint Hill before embarking on your own Day of Play projects. You will also have the opportunity to see some of the fabulous creations made by our students and teachers.
